OLED TV partners sought by Sony
Sony has reportedly been seeking partners for producing OLED TVs. The Sony XEL-1 has received great OLED TV Reviews from CES 2008. However, Sony and other OLED manufacturers have stated that producing the panels is a manufacturing challenge. There are still the controversial points about color fading and life expectancy of these new flat panel TV sets. Also, Samsung was quoted as saying that they will not release any models to consumers until they could offer them at comparable prices to LCD TV.
