My first metal detector
I haven’t been very active in metal detecting for a while, but I used to be. I started my interest back so far I don’t even remember what year it was, but I do remember the fact that my first metal detector was under $10 US and could barely detect coins that were placed right on top of it.
When I got older I started looking for more metal detectors info and landed on a more advanced detector from the same company that produced my first one. That second detector was eventually worn out and replaced by a third, even more advanced unit, which I used to pay for dates. Ah, the good old days, when $20 US was worth something.
