Kayaking and anoeing in Kauai
Kauai is an island of adventure. People flock there to hike, to swim, to scuba, and to canoe and kayak. Of all of the islands that make up Hawaii, this one seems to draw more of the nature lovers than any of the others do. When it comes to kayaking and canoeing, you can find several great places on the island to explore. You can take a tour that has a guide who can point out different plants, animals, and sights to you or you can go it alone. When canoeing in Kauai, however, you should always make sure you are careful and have the proper gear with you. The Na Pali Coast is a popular canoe trip that takes you around the edge of the island along some rugged coastline. The landscape is quite stunning from the water, and it is one of the best ways to experience the island. You can also stop at the remote Kalilau Beach when you are out there. The Wailua River is also a famous spot for paddlers. It is a long and slow moving river with tons of great sights. This is a great place those just learning the ropes of canoeing to travel.
