Chinese Lanterns make the news
Ever inquire as to what occurred to the brilliant animated cartoon series we used to experience as minors back in the 1980s? You recognize the ones, My Little Pony, Care Bears, He-Man and She-Ra and the likes? They were a one thousand times fresher than the stuff on tv set now. I flicked over from the news program where I was viewing a story about a chinese lantern that was adrift out over the ocean and the sea-coast safeguards had it confused with a distress signal, to find a very upsetting children’s programme indeed. It was almost like a children’s soap opera and these children were only more or less twelve years old!
