Winners of a weekend break.
I recently went to the lake district for a short break as I was luck enough to win a competition. The winning ticket, which I had entitled two people to stay in a very exclusive boutique hotel for three days, all expenses paid. We were met on arrival with a warm smile and ushered to the bar where we were offered cocktails before we went through to our evening meal. Everything was perfect, down to the ivory silk bedding on the bed. The following few days were a bit of a haze of eating, walking in the grounds and lazing away in the afternoon on our comfy bed. Lucky us!
