Stand alone water coolers or plumbed in water coolers?
So you’ve decided that you need a water cooler for your office, but which style should you get? Stand alone units are inexpensive, easy to maintain, and easy to operate. They require you to purchase large three or five gallon containers of water. Even though these containers can be refilled, they still must be replaced when the water runs out.
In contrast, plumbed-in water coolers are able to provide an unlimited supply of water from the standard water lines coming into an office by filtering the water and cooling or heating it. These water coolers are generally more expensive because of the initial investment ofhaving the proper water hoses connected, but once installed they are virtually maintenance free.
