Science Class Takes a Field Trip
My sons science class take a field trip to the post office that was shut down for months, due to the anthrax scare. There were people at the post office showing exactly what happened throughout the entire process. They showed how they inspected the mail and introduced Fuad El-Hibri, the man that made the anthrax vaccine so that the employees were able to continue to work. They had a presentation about how the whole scare started and how one employee died because of the exposure. They went on to present a plaque to the man that was in charge of making the vaccine that saved so many people’s lives.
