My career goals
My parents are both in the medical field. My father is a medical doctor and my mother is just finishing her schooling and post grad work to become an occupational therapist. Me and my mother are pretty close and we both enjoy the same things. I have been following pretty closely her training as I’ve decided to enter into the Occupational Therapy Training myself. I understand that I will need to take some pretty tough classes and be at the top of my class but with my mother there to tell me during the hard times that I can do it, it will be great. I am proud of my mother as I’m sure she will be proud of me when I make it. She tells me their is a great deal of pride in this career that I won’t truly understand until I finish the training and enter the room to take the certification requirements.
