Risk managment makes good sense
My company does a lot of business in countries with very depressed economies. As a result of this all of the employees are covered by Kidnap And Ransom Insurance. We know why this is needed and it does give us some peace of mind knowing it is in place, but it does also remind us of the risk when we take these assignments. It also keeps up very alert of everything around us. Being more alert stops us from going in to ares where the risk of being kidnapped is high. If it is necessary to go there we know to go as a large group to cut down on the risks.
