Reclaiming an old hobby as an overlooked treasure
I love to knit and crochet. I can remember sitting with my Grandmother as she taught me how to hold my needles and hooks. I would sit in awe of her creations as she was in the midst of doing them and dream of a time when I would be able to crochet a lace table covering. My Grandmother is long gone however her linens are still very much a part of our home and are an incredible reminder of her. Now that my daughter is of the age to learn this skill I would love to reclaim this overlooked treasure so that she might have the opportunity to pass it on to her daughter one day.
