Dad doesn’t like electronic data mangement for the shop floor.
My dad is nervous about some changes at the factory where he works. For the last 25 years they have used a paper system to track the products and orders made.
It is a slow moving system and allows for too many human errors from start to end.
Upper mmanagementhas decided that those reasons along with an abundance of paper files for previous information are the perfect excuse to begin electronic data management for the shop floor.
Dad, however, doesn’t see a reason to change what already works and doesn’t trust or like computers at all. He is even considering early retirement just to avoid having to deal with it.
