What Does It Read
I recently had a sensor come on in a car that I am borrowing for the summer. It was not the normal “check engine” light but it just said that I needed to perform service. Without calling the owner to alarm them should I try to have some kind of Automotive Diagnostics software run a test on the car? Should I take it in to a dealership or should I try to figure it out through an individual shop owner? Not being a car owner myself I am at a loss as to what is the responsible thing to do with a vehicle.
