Ask most people what a biker is and they picture a broad shouldered man with a thick beard and mustache, heavy black biker boots and jacket, metal studs and spikes and a bad attitude to match.  The reality is much different.  A trip to Sturgis can show you just how diverse the Brotherhood of the Bike really is - especially the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame!You’ll find an incredible number of people at Sturgis, both men and women, young and old, adults and children.  The event knows no boundaries for age, sex, race or creed.  You’ll find an amazing number of bikers attending that don’t reflect the typical image.  In fact, more than ¾ of the attendees resemble everyday people, which they are.The bikers attending Sturgis come for the love of the bike, the enjoyment of other people, rides, games and the fair-like atmosphere.  Sturgis is unquestionably amazing fun. The sheer number of shopkeepers, lawyers, doctors, writers, homemakers, construction workers and every other imaginable trade attending is staggering.  A trip to Sturgis is a great way to add enjoyment to any family vacation in South Dakota.
